The glass enclosures protect embedded electronics from exposure to harsh chemicals to ensure tag readability and provide excellent stability over fluctuating temperatures. RFID glass tag can be embedded into custom housings and mounted on virtually any surface - metal, plastic, wood, paper and water - making them ideal for tracking assets such as tools, equipment, pharmaceuticals, production inventory, metallic kegs or gas cylinders. It is a flexible solution for asset identification that withstands most chemicals and harsh environment circumstances. These passive contactless RFID glass tag are available inserted or molded into a variety of materials, allowing quick, easy and accurate automated asset identification and management via radio frequency identification (RFID).

How does the RFID glass tag works?

The implementation of RFID technology has made it possible to optimize the identification and traceability of asset management. The RFID reader detect the RFID glass tag and transmits the data. An intelligent anti-collision function enables several RFID glass tags to operate in the field simultaneously. The anti-collision algorithm selects each RFID glass tag individually and ensures that the execution of a transaction with a selected tag is performed correctly without data corruption resulting from other tags in the field.
